As per the latest update provided by Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Mourinho and other suitors are clear to sign the World Cup winning defender if they can come up with an important proposal.

The Bayern Munich CEO told Bild that the 29-year-old defender could leave the Bundesliga champions this summer and he may negotiate with other clubs. Rummenigge further said that if a club wants to sign him then they must come up with a high bid.

Bild have further stated that so far, no concrete offer has been made for Boateng and the German giants would look for a high double-digit million fee to let him leave. Therefore, United would have to make a big offer to get his signing done.

The former Manchester City player featured in 31 games (all competitions) for Bayern last season, scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists. His current contract with the club will expire in 2021 and he earns €90,000-a-week (The Telegraph).
