After Fred’s arrival, Man Utd want €86million star as marquee signing

Manchester United are seriously looking to strengthen their midfield department and as per reports, a top quality midfielder is linked with the Red Devils.

On 31st May, The Sun exclusively revealed that Brazilian midfielder Fred will complete his move to Manchester United next week.

More recently, the British source have covered another exclusive report and claimed that after Fred’s arrival, Manchester United want to capture £75million rated (€86million) Marco Verratti as a marquee signing of the summer transfer window.

The PSG star is one of the best midfielders in the world. The 25-year-old star is at the peak of his game and can effectively play in multiple midfield positions.

In the last campaign, the Italian international featured in 38 games in all competitions for the French giants, scored 2 goals and provided 7 assists.

Verratti made his international debut back in 2012 and so far, he has made 25 appearances for the Azzurri.

As per The Sun, even Juventus are interested in hiring his services but United will be able to offer a better contract to attract the player to Old Trafford. The former Pescara midfielder’s current contract with the reigning Ligue 1 champions will expire in 2021.
