Man Utd prepared to agree five year deal to secure another signing

Tottenham Hotspur could lose star player Toby Alderweirled in the summer transfer window and Manchester United are the side, who are seriously interested in signing him.

The Old Trafford club have already confirmed agreements for Fred and Dalot and reports suggest that they are prepared to complete another signing.

Yesterday, London Evening Standard reported that the Red Devils are confident they will agree a deal for the former Ajax center half, for whom Spurs are demanding a fee of over 55 million pounds.

Today, few hours back, ES claimed that Tottenham are ready to sell the Belgian interanational and Manchester United are already prepared to agree a five year deal worth way more than £120,000-a-week (Spurs’ last offer) to secure his signature.

The ex Atletico Madrid defender is arguably one of the best center halves in the league and his arrival will make Mourinho’s already strong defense even stronger.

Last season, Alderweirled had an injury hit campaign mainly due to a hamstring problem and he could only start 13 times for the north Londoners in the Premier League.

If he does end up moving to Old Trafford, it will be interesting to see who will partner him in the central defense.
