Liverpool continue to be linked with French international Nabil Fekir and almost everyday, there is a story in the media suggesting that Liverpool want to sign the attacker from Lyon.
Yesterday, L’Equipe‘s Bilel Ghazi, who has covered a number of stories on the subject, covered another report and claimed that Lyon are preparing for the departure of Fekir and are eyeing his successor.
It is mentioned that the Ligue 1 side are also looking to sign a center back and a holding midfield player.
As far as Liverpool are concerned, Ghazi has claimed that the Reds are slowly moving forward with talks to lure the 24-year-old star, who is also monitored by Spanish side Atletico Madrid and German champions Bayern Munich.
The Liverpool supporters should really be tired of all these reports and would want the signing to be completed as soon as possible.
Three days back, The Independent reported that the Merseysiders want to sign the €70million rated Les Bleus playmaker before he leaves for Russia to feature in the World Cup.
Well, the five time European champions must act swiftly because the tournament will start in just 8 days.
Fekir had a memorable season with Lyon last term and he has the traits to replace Coutinho at Anfield. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in the coming days.
