Liverpool could agree deal to sign €70million South American

Liverpool desperately need to sign a new goal keeper in the summer transfer window and they seem serious about signing Alisson Becker.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Merseysiders could agree a deal to sign the South American shot stopper this summer.

Yesterday, Spanish source Mundo Deportivo reported that the Reds have made an offer worth €65million to sign the 25-year-old star, who is Brazil’s first choice goal keeper. As per the report, Real Madrid only offered a fee worth €50million

Today, Spanish source Marca have reported that the Spanish giants have reactivated their interest in signing Alisson because Liverpool are making efforts to lure him. It is mentioned that the Reds are willing to meet the player’s valuation to agree a deal with Roma.

Not so long ago, UOL Esporte reported that the Serie A club want around €70million for their first choice goalie.

As per Marca, Alisson does want to move to the Bernabeu, however, the Los Blancos are not willing to pay more than €60million for him. Therefore, if Liverpool are prepared to meet Roma’s asking price then they should be considered favorites to sign the Samba star.

It will be fair to stay that at Anfield, Alisson would get straight into the starting XI because the likes of Karius and Mignolet are just not good enough. At Real Madrid, he would have to compete with Keylor Navas, who has been influential for the reigning European Champions since joining the club in 2014.
