Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool have agreed deal’s framework in principle but player wants more

Liverpool have got quality players in their attacking third but they do lack depth and therefore, Klopp must splash the cash to strengthen the team.

As far as their strike-force is concerned, Firmino is top class but if he gets injured then the Reds do not have an adequate replacement in the squad. The likes of Origi, Ings and Solanke are just not good enough.

So, either Liverpool should sign a quality cover for Firmino or promote a talented starlet, who has the ability to cover for the Brazilian center forward. One quality striker in their youth ranks is Rhian Brewster, who won the U-17 World Cup with England last year and was the leading goalscorer in the competition.

The British source have mentioned that Brewster wants game time for the senior side and is looking for assurances that he will be able to challenge for a place in Liverpool’s first team. It is further mentioned that now, Tottenham and Arsenal have entered the race to secure his signature as well.

Last season, the teenage striker scored 5 goals and provided 7 assists in 11 games for Liverpool’s U-23 side.
