After Liverpool’s £57.3million offer, player has made his decision

Liverpool have been interested in Roma star Alisson but it seems that they will end up losing the race to hire his services.

The Reds were defeated by Real Madrid in the Champions League final and reports suggest that the Los Blancos could now beat Liverpool to the signing of the Brazilain goal keeper.

On 11th June, Mundo Deportivo covered a report and claimed that the Merseysiders have made a bid worth 65 million euros (£57.3million) to sign the 25-year-old player.

More recently, the renowned Spanish source have reported that Alisson has made his decision. It is stated that the Samba star has decided that he will either remain in Rome or play for Real Madrid in the next campaign.

Mundo Deportivo have stated that the South American goalie has refused to play in the Premier League with Liverpool despite the fact that Klopp is keen on securing his signature.

The former Internacional goalie featured in 49 games in all competitions for Roma last season and kept 22 clean sheets. It must be remembered that Liverpool scored 7 goals past him in the Champions League last season.

So far, Alisson has made 24 appearances for the senior national side and he is the first choice goal keeper in Brazil’s World Cup squad under Tite.
