Liverpool willing to reach agreement by thrashing out the exact asking price

Liverpool are constantly linked with French international Nabil Fekir and it will not come as any surprise if the Lyon star ends up moving to Anfield.

Yesterday, we covered a report (L’Equipe) claiming that the Reds will begin talks with the Ligue 1 club to secure the signature of the 24-year-old attacking midfielder.

More recently, Mirror Sport have claimed that the Reds are trying to meet with Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas to thrash out exactly the asking price, which is around 50 million pounds (€57.3million), to lure the Les Bleus star.

Today, the British source came up with another report claiming that the Merseysiders are keen to push through a £50million deal for Fekir before the start of the World Cup next month.

Mirror Sport have further mentioned that Sporting Director Michael Edwards has already made progress and will try harder to reach an agreement with the French side.

Jurgen Klopp sold Philippe Coutinho in the winter transfer window and as yet, the German boss has not replaced the Brazilian playmaker.

Like Coutinho, Fekir can also be deployed in the midfield and in the offense. Last season, he regularly scored and created goals to help Lyon qualify for the next season’s UEFA Champions League. We can expect the Ligue 1 star to partner the likes of Salah and Mane in Liverpool’s attacking midfield if he does end up signing for the Anfield club.

  1. We certainly need a fourth quality player up front as, currently, we have nobody to replace the front three adequately to give them rest or in the event of injury, etc. This is unsustainable. Get Fekir and we can alternate a bit with any three from four.
We urgently need a new keeper and I’d love us to get Lascelles from Newcastle as a quality partner for Van Dyke. The new keeper, Lascelles, Rafinah, Keita and Fekir gives us a brand new spine to the team, something Karius, Lovren, Henderson, Milner and Wijnaldum haven’t been able to do.

  2. I have watched Fabihno’s few clips and very impressed. His strength. Perfect penalty taker with 95% accuracy.2. Excellent tackle. Excellent and accurate passes and distribution. Good reader of team mate run and good feeder. He doesn’t hold on too long on the ball. This has a missing factor some times in LFC play. He also a good header. He is simply an utility and versatile who will be a better replacement for both Can and Countino. And if Fekir is able to come to Anfield, then we are set for fantastic season. In addition to Nabir Keira, I think LFC will go some steps up in both domestic and in Uefa championship.

  3. I also like to add more direct wingers who can come up to give us more energy on both flanks, including one striker,CB and GK.We need at least 7players
